Arslan: The Warriors of Legend

A Dynasty Warriors-style musou collaboration that builds on Koei Tecmo's recent good form, delivering stellar combat with a wide roster of genuinely distinct characters and a deep card-and-weapon customization system. The cel-shaded animation and personality are stunning, though environments look dated, frame rate is variable, there's no targeting, and incessant Japanese-only dialogue (no English dub) is easy to miss. Far from technically perfect, but tremendously fun for fans of the genre and the anime.
