Warriors Orochi 4

A vastly improved musou title that crams in 170 unique characters, a new magic system, and RPG-style progression with team affinities that add genuine strategic depth. Combat is satisfying once mastered and the content is enormous, with split-screen co-op a real highlight. The story and Japanese-voiced battle dialogue are hard to follow, the aging engine shows performance drops, and repetition lingers, but it is hugely addictive overall.
