Faithful recreation of 3D platforming classics; steep difficulty for newcomers.

ZP: faithful platformer but doesn't hold up; questionable 3D shift.

Hell of a good time remaster with faithful visuals and music; load times are persistent but worthwhile for legacy fans.

A loving, definitive remake of the first three Crash games, with a phenomenal graphical overhaul, clean sound, quality-of-life tweaks like anytime saving and switchable Coco, and Crash 1 gameplay smoothed toward the sequels. The best way to play these classics. That said, it stays faithful to old frustrations such as brutal precision platforming in Crash 1 and the worse-handling jet ski in Crash 3, and it won't win over anyone the originals already failed to impress.

Creator is excited and impressed by the remaster despite some control scheme adjustments needed. Graphics are great, and consistency across all three games is appreciated, though the new controls feel different from the originals.
