Dishonored 2

A satisfying, immersive supernatural assassin sequel with a solid revenge story and a deep set of powers across two playable characters. The combat is as easy or hard as you make it, and going loud with abilities like a teleport-and-pull rather than careful stealth delivers enormous, sadistic fun. PC optimization is reportedly rough for many, but the powers, looting, and inventive Clockwork-mansion levels make it a clear recommendation.

A solid but safe sequel offering a choice between Emily and Corvo and more of the same roof-hopping, mission-based stealth, with Emily's story the more compelling of the two. The short-range teleport keeps the stealth tense and uniquely efficient, and the world-building is rich. But the lifeless, monotone voice acting and dialogue drain investment in the characters and plot, and a one-mission time-switching gimmick feels tacked on.

A fantastic sequel that feels like the original but smoother, better-looking, and far more varied. Emily Caldwin is a compelling, well-developed protagonist, the AI is markedly improved, and the new void engine delivers tighter movement and stronger visuals. Its sandbox approach offers many branching ways to tackle objectives without abandoning a narrative worth caring about.
