Prey is excellent and a standout among AAA games, feeling like a throwback to 90s PC shooters with brilliant, responsive controls and full lean/jump movement. It runs and is optimized superbly, rewards thorough exploration, and the glue gun, deep perk system, and slick recycler/fabricator crafting add real depth and replayability. Tense, Alien-like atmosphere with mimics shines; minor gripes are bullet-spongey possessed humans and unwanted enemy sensor tags showing through walls.

ZP: effective action RPG with exploration; weak horror due to poor atmosphere.
