Our analysis

Gothic II iteration with atrocious combat and numerous technical flaws. Nearly unplayable.

Our analysis

Tedious open-world RPG with dated combat and no meaningful innovation; only for niche Piranha Bytes nostalgia fans.

Our analysis
Click4gameplay recommends giving ELEX another chance in 2026 despite its jank and control issues. With its excellent open-world exploration, impressive jetpack mechanic, great quest design, and strong sense of progression, it's a worthwhile RPG experience for those who enjoy good stories and can tolerate rough edges.
