Wait for a sale. Lots to like but the bar is high. Enjoyable action game that doesnt quite reach its potential.

A stylish cowboy vs vampires action game with excellent combat, great presentation, and solid level design. Not innovative but executes its core loop excellently.

Linear corridor shooter with boring gameplay and tedious puzzle design. Hand-holding reaches absurd levels with constant telegraph and no exploration.

A thrilling, blender-style action game that earns its price on PC. The standout is its alternate-history steampunk vampire-hunting world plus a relentless drip of fresh tools and combos each chapter, anchored by the satisfying Gauntlet and zapper combat with great gore. It doesn't quite reach the polish of its God of War inspirations, voice direction is inconsistent, color grading is overbearing at times, and some late encounters and console performance are rougher, but it's a focused, consistently fun ride.

Expertly choreographed combat and stylish presentation make this a favorite action adventure of 2022, though it loses momentum near the end.

They don't make a ton like these anymore, so again, I'm biased in terms of just being happy to have something like this. There's gore, there's action, there's gross spooky stuff, and a good amount of silly weirdness.

Over-the-top vampire action with responsive combat and well-designed locations but lackluster story, limited exploration, and high price point warrant waiting for a sale.
