Life is Strange: Before the Storm

Our analysis

A prequel that drops the time-rewind mechanic in favor of a pure character story about Chloe Price, and it nearly matches the original in quality. The characters and their relationship feel real and emotional, and the optional Back Talk dialogue-puzzle system is a fun way to influence conversations. Chloe's lines lean overly teenage-angsty to the point of cringe, but it remains a satisfying, well-paced adventure that comes recommended.
