Episode 2 leans more on story and companionship than action, carried by its excellent atmosphere, strong characters, and soft pastel visuals. A standout scene where Max must act without her rewind powers adds real tension and delivers one or two genuinely thought-provoking, well-directed moments. The downside is that the main plot barely advances and the ending thematically echoes episode 1, but it remains a beautiful, joy-to-revisit experience and a clear buy.
