Our analysis

An absolute blast held aloft by excellent gameplay decisions, where weighty, accurate driving and visceral combat tie tightly into a rewarding upgrade loop and a world that nails its post-apocalyptic fiction. The on-foot platforming is clumsy with a delayed, awkward jump, the frame rate occasionally craters into the 20s on consoles, and some music tracks fall flat, but it remains a genuinely fun open-world game.

Our analysis

ZP: adequate but tedious; dust storms frustrate.

Translated from Russian
overall, the game makes a more positive impression, but in almost every aspect, I stumble upon some 'but.' I'm glad that such a desolate setting managed to create a more or less lively world, but it's too gameplay-monotonous and not that interesting story-wise.

    Our analysis

An underappreciated open-world game that has aged surprisingly well with excellent vehicle and melee combat, compelling world design, and a lovable sidekick in Chum Bucket, though hampered by an insane grind for scrap metal, repetitive mission design, underwhelming boss fights, and a disappointing depressing ending.
