2 of 2A bold shift in perspective that puts players in the boots of standard Federation soldiers rather than Samus, and it largely pays off. Strong stylized visuals, stable performance, flexible controls, Mech Mods customization, and a substantial single-player campaign that shines further in co-op. Communication tools are weak, but it stands as a worthy entry.
A misguided spin-off that abandons Samus and the series' atmospheric free exploration for mission-based, co-op-focused gameplay built around tiny pilots in robot suits. The solo mode is a trap, growing nearly impossible without other players, and the tacked-on Blast Ball soccer minigame adds little. A baffling, disappointing use of the Metroid Prime name.

“A decent multiplayer action game that exceeds expectations for a spin-off, but limited by its timing and weak single-player experience. Best enjoyed with friends rather than solo.”
