A disappointing RTS-themed Minecraft spin-off that falls well short of the brand's quality, failing as both an action and a strategy game while occupying an unsatisfying middle ground. Frustrating, fiddly controller-first controls, terrible minion AI and pathfinding, and quickly repetitive content drag it down, with battles unfolding at a glacial, mind-numbing pace. The variety of structures and units hints at a good strategy game underneath, but the execution simply isn't there, and the lackluster PvP makes the Switch version hard to recommend.
