Our analysis
A solid, fairly priced expansion that fits naturally into the base game, adding a snowy region, the new odachi weapon, fresh yokai, magic, and Guardian Spirits. The new enemies punish over-blocking and nudge you toward more active play, and the odachi grows on you with its combo and grapple focus. Nothing here is surprising or all-inspiring, but fans of the game get exactly what they want.
