Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare

Our analysis

A refreshing, campy zombie expansion that stands as a masterclass in how DLC should be done, packing an amazing story, hilarious self-aware tone and a standout organ-driven soundtrack for very little money. Seeing the original cast react to a zombie outbreak is its best feature, and the overhauled spooky world and reworked open-world activities give the gameplay a welcome change of pace. The one glaring flaw is gating the finale behind mandatory side missions and a tedious zombie-capture quest that needlessly pads the playtime.
