Solid horde-based shooter with good graphics and well-designed zombie hordes. Nice level variety.

A dumbed-down, lesser version of Left 4 Dead. The chaotic horde moments where masses of zombies swarm an area look genuinely awesome and atmospheric, but the special infected are trash with no sense of dread, every mission feels the same (do errands, then defend), and the multiplayer can be near-empty. Hugely disappointing given how amazing it could have been.

World War Z offers exciting cinematic zombie encounters at a reasonable price without predatory monetization. Repetitive objectives and replayability concerns leave the creator indifferent despite enjoying parts of it.
