Battlefield 3

Our analysis

An exceptional multiplayer shooter whose Pitch-Perfect online warfare, large-scale Conquest maps, and refined squad mechanics make it a must-play on PC. The Frostbite 2 engine delivers stunning visuals, destructible terrain, and immersive sound, though the short, mediocre single-player campaign and brain-dead AI hold it back. The console versions suffer notably worse graphics, lag, and smaller player counts.
