Strong multiplayer shooter with best movement and gunplay in franchise, improved significantly from troubled launch.

A disappointing entry that abandons what makes Battlefield distinctive, playing more like a fast Call of Duty than an immersive war shooter, with a glaring lack of tanks and vehicles. The single-player war stories are uneven, with some genuinely enjoyable missions undercut by weak AI and ahistorical storytelling. The class system, gunplay, and some maps are real strengths, making the multiplayer fun in its own right even if it fails as a true Battlefield experience.
