A clear buy even for returning players, the next-gen jump brings a massive visual upgrade with more effects, higher-resolution textures, and a smooth frame rate atop already excellent, perfectly voiced presentation. The addictive action-RPG loot loop is as compelling as ever, and the expansion piles on a higher level cap, new skills, the powerful and fun Crusader class, and the endlessly replayable Adventure Mode with Bounties and Rifts. The main sting is Adventure Mode being locked behind story completion for those without a transferable character.
