A must-buy on PC that finally runs unshackled from the console's framerate woes, looking stellar with some of the best-animated creatures in any RPG. Combat thrives on flexible vocation-switching, big bold spellcasting, and a clever pawn system that makes companions feel communal while sharing learned monster knowledge across players. The day-night cycle turns darkness into a mystery that reshapes strategy, and despite uninspired voice work and some low-res textures, the world and gameplay mesh into a uniquely engrossing experience.
