A beautifully crafted sci-fi action game with novel puzzle-combat mechanics and stunning environmental design that draws inspiration from Resident Evil. While the core gameplay is engaging and the presentation is exceptional, the story remains predictable and the combat doesn't fully hit its stride outside VR training missions.
A game that could have been great but is undone by its core design. The sci-fi Luna setting, atmospheric visuals, meaty weapons, and menacing enemies are all strong, and it runs extremely well even on older hardware. But the combat is ruined by a mandatory hacking mini-game tied to the AI companion Diana that interrupts nearly every encounter, killing immersion, plus intrusive cosmetic-store promotion.
