Mass Effect 2

A superb sequel that earns the highest praise, retaining the original's smart writing and humor while layering in customizable armor, a far more interactive galaxy map, strong characters, and improved combat. It stops just short of perfection due to nagging party AI, restrictive class rules, and the divisive online-pass system, but it remains a premium franchise entry worth owning.

Yahtzee: excellent writing and immersive world but repetitive gameplay, missing planetary exploration. Combat too easy. Min-maxing dialogue.
