Our analysis
Mack found the remastered trilogy's combat and hand-holding gameplay poor and the visual upgrade modest. He still recommends it as an RPG story experience for anyone who has never played it, but says it is not worth £55 if you already played the originals.
Our analysis
Mass Effect Legendary Edition is a slam dunk day-one buy that packages three outstanding RPGs with remastered visuals and abundant DLC. The first game still feels clunky, but the later entries play much better and the bundle offers excellent value.
Our analysis
Mass Effect Legendary Edition is a high-quality way to experience a truly great sci-fi trilogy, with all DLC included and Mass Effect 1 getting the biggest visual overhaul. ME1's combat still feels old, a few faces look odd, and the PC graphics options are limited. Highly recommended, especially for newcomers.
