Pikmin 3 Deluxe

A definitive port of a game that deserved more love, striking a Goldilocks balance between the first game's strict time limit and Pikmin 2's lack of tension via its fruit-based day system. Revamped, less fiddly controls, added full-story co-op, optional hints, and bundled side stories and DLC round out the package. Performance is unchanged at 720p/30fps, but the slow-paced game does not suffer for it, making this the best way to play for newcomers.

A fantastic real-time strategy game blending navigation, time management, and combat that still looks and plays wonderfully years after its Wii U debut. Refined controls, stunning visuals, charming audio, and new co-op and content make it well worth playing, though the premium pricing is the main drawback. Seeking out a cheaper physical copy is advised.
