Widely regarded as one of the greatest games of all time and an excellent backseat experience, holding up remarkably well two decades on. Its hardware limitations bred extraordinary creativity, packing huge ideas into a small, dense world where nearly every location, character, puzzle, and unique boss is memorable, capped by the brilliant ocarina mechanic woven into the soundtrack and plot. Minor gripes include the relentlessly nagging fairy Navi, dated animations, and severe input lag specific to the Wii U Virtual Console version.
