  Our analysis

A groundbreaking and important title with excellent modern-feeling game design despite dated elements. The creator appreciates its accessible difficulty progression, tight controls, and thoughtful level design, while criticizing the timer, scoring system, lack of continues in the NES version, and weak boss battles.
