Our analysis
A solid action RPG from Falcom that blends real-time combat with Persona-style school-life social systems and a heavy narrative focus. The action is excellent and the world has a charming, age-showing aesthetic with zero pop-in, but the disproportionate ratio of cutscene/dialogue watching to actual play drags the early experience and the price feels steep. Enjoyable if you can stomach the talky stretches and Japanese-only voicing.
