Visually beautiful FPS with excellent combat, creative mechanics, and strong character development.

A phenomenal experience whose heart is more cinematic than interactive. As a shooter it's solid and well-designed with great gunplay, but its writing, music, characters, and tense set pieces built around the threat of violence elevate it into one of the best games of the year. Its uncompromising, challenging storytelling and singular focus on single-player make it an utterly unmissable, must-play title.

Excellent gunplay and fun gameplay make this a solid experience despite excessive cutscenes, weak AI pathfinding at times, and an absurd story that works better if you don't take it seriously.
