Wolfenstein: The Old Blood

A lean, satisfying standalone shooter that delivers the same wickedly solid run-shoot-reload gameplay as The New Order, with excellent weapon sound, fun melee and upgrades, and a tight 6-to-10-hour campaign. Drawbacks include unremarkable enemy and environment design, occasional ragdoll glitches, hedgy level layouts, and finicky mouse-and-keyboard controls. A worthwhile buy that succeeds as an expansion without breaking new ground.
