Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles

Our analysis

A concise, well-presented anime fighter with fluid combat, a satisfying rank system, and a short but emotionally resonant story that abridges the series effectively. It runs beautifully on the Unreal 4 engine with an excellent soundtrack and solid voice acting, and the versus mode adds fun. The main drawbacks are how punishing damage chains can feel, a story that ends too soon, and a price that is too high this long after release.
