Our analysis
A complete and content-rich arena fighter that delivers slick, surprisingly deep combat, beautiful anime-style cutscenes, and the series' best presentation, bundled with all DLC and 124 playable ninja. Frame rates are locked and consistent at 30fps and the audio design shines, though textures show their age with muddy spots and pop-in, the QuickTime events grate, and new players are not taught especially well. A very enjoyable package best experienced at 60fps elsewhere if handheld is not a priority.
