Our analysis
An incredibly addictive turn-based RPG strategy game that thrives on the relationships between its child crew, with combat that shines through color-matching, affinities, and devastating link attacks. The standout is its excellent, easy-to-pick-up-and-play battle system, though it stutters on variety as stages and even boss vehicles begin to repeat, and the lack of a speed-up option and clearer relationship info hold it back slightly. The on-the-nose World War II metaphor is straightforward but at least keeps the player's motivations clear.
