A worthwhile remaster of the 2006 PS2 RPG that meaningfully refines the original with real-time combat, jumping and dodging, no random battles, fast travel, and added voice acting that freshens the experience. The Taisho-era setting, charming demon designs, and demon capture/fusion systems are highlights, running at a steady 60fps. Drawbacks are an underdeveloped investigative side, occasionally repetitive go-here-do-this pacing, and a price many will find too high outside of a sale.
