UE5 remaster with dramatic visual improvements but hitching issues during saves and combat.

A 19-year-old open-world remaster that exemplifies stagnation in modern AAA game design. While nostalgic and competently updated, it highlights how game development has gone backward compared to 2006.

Yahtzee finds Oblivion ambitious and impressively deep but execution stretched too thin. NPCs get stuck on paving stones, conversation pie minigame is awkward, and the immersion shatters with technical quirks. Tries to spin three plates and ends up dropping all three.
