Destiny 2: Forsaken

Our analysis

A triumphant recovery that returns the franchise to its MMO-light roots, with the best campaign and mission design Destiny has delivered, restored gear and weapon systems, an overlapping rewards economy, and the standout new Gambit mode. It remains held back by the awkward scaffolding of Destiny 2, peer-to-peer PvP networking, an unwanted masterwork-core infusion change, and a steep total cost.
