Revisited after several patches, the game is noticeably improved, especially frame rate on PS4 and Xbox One, which in turn makes exploration, the side content like the murder mysteries, crashing, and overall fun factor far more enjoyable than at the broken launch. Texture work and pop-in were left largely unaddressed, with the developer masking pop-in as a deliberate Animus glitch. The verdict stays a wait-for-a-sale based on original pricing, though current discounts push it close to an outright buy.
